An update from the committee...
It’s been a typical English summer, but rain or shine the pub has enjoyed a busy last few weeks and with the weather set fair we are hoping for a strong end to the summer!
At the moment the committee are busy working towards applying for grant money through the Rural Business Investment Fund and this is an opportunity for us to secure funding so that we can invest in some important areas around the pub. A lot of the equipment we inherited, when the pub was bought, is now coming to the end of its working life, so we would like to replace equipment in the kitchen, new lighting plus racking and storage facilities - we will keep you posted on how our application goes over the next few months!
