A Greener Racehorse?

The Racehorse is a fantastic village pub and community hub, but we also want to make it a sustainable business and this includes doing our bit for the planet. To help us achieve this, we are proposing to install a solar photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof. We estimate this will save us between 20-30% of our electricity bill annually, which is the equivalent of burning 2250kg of coal per year.

We are applying for a grant through the Suffolk Climate Action Community Match Fund but would like your help to raise the other £5,750 needed. We aim to sell about 230 (£25 each) shares in The Racehorse before 5th May 2023.
