Easter Raffle - Results

The Racehorse Easter Raffle, initiated by Anita Goddard, was for a bumper packed Easter Hamper, the contents of which were donated by many villagers as well as the pub and included a traditional Easter simnel cake baked by Anita.

In the past tickets for the Easter raffle were sold in Tony’s Stores. The Racehorse were happy to continue this very worthwhile fund raising effort from our Community Pub.

The fantastic sum of £210 was raised from raffle ticket sales and this money will go to St Andrews Church, Westhall. Many thanks to all who bought tickets and contributed items for the hamper.

The lucky winners of the Easter Hamper were Chris and Steve Blackburn and the runners up prize of another simnel cake went to Aileen and Shaun Darch.
