Post Office Update

It is now nearly a year since Tony's Stores and Post Office sadly closed. As some of you may be aware, representatives from the Parish Council, Community Council and The Racehorse met with a Change Manager from the PO in January. After that meeting we understood that the PO would set up an Outreach service at The Racehorse as soon as they could with the possibility of a more extensive service in the future. Disappointingly, without any further consultation with Village representatives the PO have recently published a letter on their website which says, "we are not currently able to progress any options to restore a Post Office service locally."
