Preparing for opening!

On Sunday morning (1st December) a group of locals came down to the Racehorse to tidy up the outside ready for opening. Although we have not yet signed a rental agreement, the pub owner kindly gave us permission to do this. There was much activity, including weeding, strimming, repairing, and refreshing flowerbeds. In spite of occasional showers, everyone got really stuck in! Although we don’t yet have firm dates for opening, as they are dependent on when we sign the rental agreement, this is an example of the many things we need to do to get our pub ready. There was much banter, and everyone had a great time!
