Get Involved

For the project to be a success we need the involvement of a wide range of people from across the area. No matter how much or how little you can do, you will play an important part in the opening of The Racehorse. We recognise that many people lead busy lives, but the end result will be something which we can all be proud of, and it will make Westhall a better place to live. Not only that, we intend to have plenty of fun along the way!

Below are some of the ways you can participate in The Race for the Racehorse!

Please note that some time ago we held a survey at which you were asked to indicate how you might be able to get involved. We have retained those responses but it would help us for you to reaffirm and extend your willingness to be involved in the project having read what we are planning.

Immediate Needs:

  1. Desktop publishing skills

  2. Willingness to distribute leaflets

Please contact us via the website or direct to any member of the Friends of The Racehorse

We need people who are prepared to put time into a whole range of activities, from leaflet dropping to helping in fundraising activities, from helping behind the bar to cleaning the facilities. Some of these jobs are not glamorous, but they are all essential to success.

If you feel you might be able to give some of your time to help, click on the button opposite and sign up to one or more of the activities.

We need people with good ideas, especially around fundraising activities. If you think you can organise a cake stall, sports day, or can think of your own great idea to generate some funds but you would like someone else to organise it, please let us know by clicking on the button opposite.
